Arthritis

In the article "Top 10 Things That Don’t Cause Arthritis" by Rob Shmerling, it talks about arthritis and the many different myths that people say can cause it.  It tells about how arthritis is very common and is found in 1 in 6 adults in America.  According to the article, you are more susceptible to arthritis with age.  The article says that there is still a lot unknown about arthritis and also that a lot of the stuff that has been found is not always proven true.  Some theory that are not yet proven of causes of arthritis are- overuse, medications, cracking knuckles, and poor diet.  I think the article has a lot of information and very interesting.  I was always told that cracking knuckles would lead to arthritis but now I know it is not true. I think that the article was a little confusing for me because I always thought that we already knew a lot of information about this disease and how to avoid it.
